The aim of this course is to develop a deeper understanding and a critical appreciation of France's rich cultural heritage through the study of texts and other cultural artefacts. The course is also designed to develop linguistic skills, particularly reading and writing skills, but also vocabulary acquisition and speaking skills. This course will be devoted to the study of new millenium French cinema (see French Discipline handbook for more details). |
