Syllabus:

This course aims to consolidate students' understanding of the more complex and sophisticated grammatical constructions of the Ancient Greek language while introducing them to the reading of (modified) texts written in the original language. Two hours per week will be devoted to the study of grammar and syntax in which students will be required to complete a variety of language tasks including translation both into and from Ancient Greek. One hour per week may be devoted to the reading of (modified) passages from Greek texts, including unseen comprehension.
