Syllabus: |
This course will provide students with foundational knowledge and skills in managing cybersecurity risks and threats at an organisational level. Students will learn the nature and magnitude of current cyber threats; case studies in threat prevention and incident handling; strategies for organisational risk management of cyber threats; organisational mechanisms policies and procedures for minimising the risks and costs associated with breaches; current trends and developments in threats and mitigation; resources identifying new threats and approaches to mitigation. Assessment can include, practical exercises, quizzes, case-studies, presentations and a final exam. |
