Syllabus:

The aim of this course is to develop a deeper understanding and a critical appreciation of France's rich cultural heritage through the study of texts and other cultural artefacts. The course is also designed to develop language skills, particularly reading and writing skills, but also vocabulary acquisition and speaking skills. This year, the course title will be 'La poésie française: traditions et modernité'. See French Department handbook for more details about the course.
