Syllabus:

The application of process engineering principles to minerals processing operations are introduced including ore preparation, pre-blending, size reduction, separation and concentration, sorting, flotation, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy and electrometallurgy. The application of process control and safety in the mineral industry will be introduced. The focus on the Australian mineral industry is a key component of this course.
