The aim of this course is to develop research skills in the mathematical sciences. The student will undertake a research project in one of the areas of research strength of the School of Mathematical Sciences: Mechanics, Pure Mathematics and Statistics & Stochastics. Students will be required to meet weekly with a supervisor and to prepare a written final report and, in addition, give a seminar based on that report. |
