Doing business while doing good! This course explores different models of social enterprise and evaluates them in context of the local/global challenges they aim to address. You obtain a valuable foundation for planning a career pathway in social entrepreneurship. You will understand what social enterprise is and its relation to sustainable development and social impact, learn how to measure social impact, plus discuss various pathways to create change whether through a startup venture, supporting social entrepreneurs in creative ways, or serving as a director of a board. From the public, private or not-for-profit sector, you will identify and develop a social enterprise opportunity that provides potential to scale. |
