| Syllabus: |
The course deals with basic physiological and anatomical principles in a wide variety of species. Beginning at the tissue level, the physiology and anatomy of the major systems including endocrine, nervous, gastrointestinal and hepatic are covered. The course then takes an integrative approach allowing students to examine the breadth of these systems including disease mechanisms and sensory and cognitive functions of the whole animal. |
